Our History curriculum intent is for our children to know that history is a story of the past that can be told differently, and that history is created from evidence that remains. Historians have to find ways to make sense of this incomplete picture. We want to give our children the skills to make accurate judgments, be able to test for reliability, and know which questions to ask.

At Salterlee we have mixed class teaching. We ensure every pupil receives a broad and balanced curriculum that not only meets but enhances the requirements of the national curriculum.
